NaTURaL GAS
PROCESSING
Gas conditioning
Natural gas produced as free or associated with the oil
caries normally traces of oil, water and some solid
particles. Before any treatment to remove undesirable gas
components, conditioning is done via:
-
Feed gas separators.
-
High energy separators.
-
Decanters.
-
Mist extractors.
Dehydration
It essential to control hydrocarbon and water dew points of
natural gas streams for the purpose of transporting the gas
some distance for further treatment without the separation
of harmful water phase. Several technologies are available
to do that, depending on size and cost:
-
Glycol dehydration system.
-
Desiccant gas dehydration.
-
Glycol-amine gas dehydration.
-
Solid adsorbent dehydration system.
Hydrocarbon Recovery
Recovery of heavy hydrocarbon components like natural
gasoline, butane and propane can be achieved systems such
as:
-
Hydrogen purification by PSA.
-
Jewel T Hydrocarbon recovery.
-
LTX hydrocarbon liquir recovery.
-
Mechanical refrigeration.
Sweetening
Systems to remove contaminants in virtually any environment
are of great importance. The most common contaminants in gas
streams beside water are the acid gases, hydrogen sulfide
(H2S) and carbon dioxide (CO2). Other contaminants often
encountered include carbonyl sulfide (COS), carbon disulfide
(CS2), and mercaptans (RSH). There are several processes
available to us like:
-
Paques Bio-desulphurization process.
-
Amine gas sweetening.
-
SULFATREAT® H2S Scavenge.
-
Cynara Membrane CO2 Separation System.
